INCEPTION

A film by Christopher Nolan, Inception hold many mysteries behind its complex concept. The film itself is controversial  in so many level. For those who might never experienced the film. Inception is a story of Dom Cobb, a very skilled thief, the absolute best in stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state. Only this time, the protagonist did not has to steal an idea, but to plant one. This impossible task involved drifting into other people's dream, where the mind is at its most vulnerable. As the film gets deeper and deeper inside the multi-leveled dreams, it gets more difficult to follow, to the point where the thing we thought we know and understand isn't really true any more.

The movie took us through a dream of a person. Inside that dream, the person can reconstruct their own landscape to their liking. Internal minds is now a whole new space where that certain person can also drift away and get lost inside their own dream. While we are at that, Nolan took us to a whole new level. The protagonist would travel inside a dream of a person inside a dream sequence. They keep digging through the layer of the dreams deeper and deeper. Confusing the audience of what's real and what's a lie. It fascinating how the same space could act as both inner and outer, there's no differentiations between each dreams. Those internal parts are the universe of its own. The exterior of the mind seems too far to reach and there are no defined line between each layer anymore.
