A pneumothorax is a collapsed lung. A pneumothorax occurs when air leaks into the space between your lung and chest wall. This air pushes on the outside of your lung and makes it collapse. Pneumothorax can be a complete lung collapse or a collapse of only a portion of the lung.
A pneumothorax can be caused by a blunt or penetrating chest injury, certain medical procedures, or damage from underlying lung disease. Or it may occur for no obvious reason. Symptoms usually include sudden chest pain and shortness of breath. On some occasions, a collapsed lung can be a life-threatening event.

As I observe my body carefully throughout the quarantine. Most of my concern would be focus at my lungs since I used to smoke cigarette around 4-6 per day. When Covid-19 announce itself to the world that it damage the lungs directly. It sparks fear toward my mind. The more I focus on certain part the more I can sense that something is wrong with it. I would feel a breached inside my chest, like there're tears in my lungs. I imagined it would look like this sharp pieces of glasses that are piercing through the organs, holding the heart of those certain organs captive. The habit of smoking won't stop so easily even if I felt like I am one cigarette away from lethal injury.
